What is ATS?

Appalachian Talent Spotlight (ATS) originated from the experiences of former athletes throughout Appalachia. When I attended Union County High School and played football, there was an overwhelming consensus among most athletes in all sports that they would never play after high school. I never thought much about this at the time, but after I went on to play in college, I realized that this was a major problem throughout Appalachia. Whether it was due to the severe lack of coverage and exposure in the region or because most of the area consisted of middle-class or lower-class families with fixed incomes, amazing athletes were not playing at the next level.

After mulling over this situation for a few years, I came up with the idea for an exposure or spotlight service for athletes throughout all of Appalachia. This would not just be any exposure service; we would provide all athletes with our services completely free, while also making sure that our product showcases not just who the athlete is in the sports world, but also what kind of person they are day-to-day and what makes them special. While we might not be able to guarantee that our services will get each athlete a college offer, we can guarantee that we will do everything in our power to show the community and the world who they are!

So, athletes, let us tell your story!
